Armor Crafting Tutorial

How do you make armor?
Go to Sacrificial Priest Saranu in the town of Anu. The last option he gives is to "produce defence item." This will let you make armor. You need to collect the ingredients, make them into Manufacturing Items (1st option) and combine those Manufacturing Items into armor parts(2nd option). You need to make a certain number of each armor part 2 for Anu, 5 for Jina and 10 for Exile, then finally combine them into the armor (3rd option) IMPORTANT: You have to make sure you're producing the correct armor parts, such as Dvanta for Asura, Satvan for Naga etc. (Oh yeah, there's a bug for the Accessory part of the armor where it says you need feathers and leather string, but it's actually feathers and glue.) In the end, you'll produce level 46 armor for Anu, level 52 armor for Jina and level 58 armor for Exile.

How do I get ingredients?
You hunt. The easiest monsters to get these from and their locations.

This really bad chart will be in the form of Manufacturing Item - made from -monster that drops it - location.

Leather/Leather String - Hard Leather - Kaulitaras(dinos) - Land of Mara, NW Shambala.

Cloth/String - any kind of Fabric - Ulmakulas, Ulmakula Cauras and their blue versions - SE, SW Shambala areas.

Glue - Fang of Boa, Fang of Mara - Boa, the snakes in 2nd floor Horseman's dungeon - SW of Mandara, 2nd floor Horseman's dungeon.

Ornamental Nail - horns - Any of the lion/wolf monsters outside Mandara drops these easily. - outside Mandara
How about Iron Rods and Feathers? This could get expensive. The only place I know of to get these is to choose the fourth option of Suranu. To get production materials from disassembled defence item. First, you need to buy one of the exclusive armors, the ones that require level 38, the ones that are already distinct from one another. Gets? =p Next, disassemble as mentioned above. When given the choice of the type of armor to disassemble, choose the clan of the item, then which armor you bought. For example, if you bought Asura armor, choose "disassemble Asura item" then "disassemble _________ armor." Ignore the name of the item, it doesn't matter. Once that's done, the armor will be disassembled into RANDOM amounts of leather, cloth, feathers and iron. When I say RANDOM, I mean that you can get as many as 4 of an item, or as few as 0. UPDATE: There's a set number produced, but there's always a major ingredient. The main ingredient will be the most number of that item produced. Example: Naga armor is mostly iron rods, so disassembling it will give you 4 iron rods IF iron rods are produced.

Sacrificial Texture and Sacrificial String: produced from any fabric
Ulkamukas (near mandara portal)
Ulkamukas Caura (near mandara portal up to near shambala castle and anu town)
Ugra Ulkamukas, Ugra Ulkamukas Caura, Ugra Ulkamukas Satvan (island before shambala castle, concentrated in the southeast area of shambala)

Gluelike Agyo:
Boas (near the colleseum portal in mandara)
Varaja, Varaja Raja, Apra Varaja Raja (west of mandara, near Mara town in mandara)
Sarpa, Sarpa Raja (Mandara dungeon lvl 2)

Ornaspirit Gong:
any of the wolf-like monsters roaming mandara
Ban, Ban Gosu (Pamir Plains)

Processed Leather and Leather Strap:
Kaulitaras (Mara land)
Byoko, Borangi (east of Jina Town)
Picasa? the passive zombies in mandara dungeon 2

Feather of Holy Bird and Strong Iron: buy lvl 30+ armors from saranu and disassemble

The Jina armor crafting will produce level 50+ armor, the exile crafter will produce level 60+ armor. The higher the level of the armor you're trying to make, the higher the chance of failure. This isn't so bad for the level 40+ armor which only requires 2 of each part, but the level 50+ and 60+ armor need 5 and 10 of each part respectively.

Some additional info, the armor of each class consists of a certain number of leathers, cloth, iron and feathers. You can get as few as one of the items, or all four, depending on your luck. Each class gives a differing amount of each item. I=iron rods, F=feathers, L=leather, C=cloth.

Naga - 4I, 1F, 3L, 2C
Asura - 3I, 2F, 4L, 1C
Yaksa - 2I, 3F, 1L, 4C
Deva - 1I, 4F, 2L, 3C

That's for the level 40+ armors. The level 50+ and 60+ armors give twice and thrice those amounts respectively. (if I made any mistakes in the amount they give, please correct me, but I'm fairly sure it's accurate.)

Oh, and I've found that the helm, pants and armor pieces give the same amount of items while the gloves and boots give a bit less, but essentially, if you're trying to get more iron, disassemble Naga equips and if you're trying to get feathers, disassemble Deva equips. For cost effectiveness though, I usually disassemble helms.

You can only make a 54+ armor in exile which is lvl55 gloves/lvl56 shoes / lvl57pants / lvl58 body armor...

each of this lvl 55+ armor needs 10 frames, 10 nepi, 10 accesory and 10 of the other(i dont remember what it is called)... another thing is lvl 52 down armor and weapons are droppped by monsters in the Jina area...

lvl 55+ armor and weapons are dropped in exile area
lvl 60+ armor and weapons are dropped in kruma

Also: there is an option to disassemble higher armors in jina and in exile... mainly lvl 46 armor sets can be dissassembled in jina and lvl 52 armor sets can be disassembled in exile.

See Table Figure #1: Crafting Table
